Cancellation Notice
Standard Appointments
For standard chimney sweep and inspection services, we request a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. This allows us to adjust our schedule and potentially accommodate other clients in need of our services. Cancellations or rescheduling made with at least 48 hours' notice will not incur any fees.
Short-Notice Cancellations
If a cancellation or rescheduling request is made less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, a cancellation fee amounting to 50% of the service cost may be applied. This fee helps cover the scheduling adjustments and potential opportunity costs incurred by The Chimney Sweep Spot, Inc.
No-Shows
In the event that a client does not appear for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, a no-show fee equivalent to 100% of the service cost will be charged.
Partial Refunds
Service-Related Issues
At The Chimney Sweep Spot, Inc., we adhere strictly to industry standards such as NFPA 211 and ensure our technicians are fully certified. If you believe our service did not meet the expected standards, notify us within 7 days of the service date. We will conduct a thorough review, and if we identify a service shortcoming, we may offer a partial refund or schedule a corrective service at no additional cost.
Weather Delays
The safety of our staff and clients is paramount. Inclement weather can impact our ability to safely perform chimney inspections and sweeps. In such cases, we reserve the right to reschedule appointments to ensure optimal conditions. We will communicate any weather-related delays as early as possible and reschedule at the client's convenience without any fees.

Refund Process
Refunds are processed using the same method of payment initially used. Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. For services paid via credit card, response times may vary based on your bank's policies.
